New Attractions Coming to the Smokies in 2024

Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have some of the top tourist attractions in Tennessee. The Smokies are always a great place to visit, and in 2024, there are even more reasons to go! Here are some of the new attractions that are coming to the area this year!

Dolly Parton Experience: This new experience at Dollywood will be an immersive museum that will make guests feel like they are alongside Dolly Parton on her journey to stardom. It will open in May 2024! 

Crayola Experience: This interactive attraction will have over 20 hands-on activities, like naming your own crayon color and creating a custom coloring book. Expect it to open in the fall of 2024! 

Nerf Action Xperience: Get ready for blaster battle zones, sports challenges, and an obstacle course at this new Nerf-themed attraction, set to open in the fall of 2024!

Dig'n Zone: A construction-themed amusement park will open in Sevierville on March 1, 2024. This long-awaited attraction will offer more than 25 fun rides and other activities. 

Wilderness at the Smokies expansion: This popular water park is adding a new rooftop pool in March 2024! 

Anakeesta expansion: Anakeesta is expanding its Astra Lumina experience by adding an installation titled "Nebular Waves," which will allow guests to observe what happens when "stars dream." There will also be a new light show. The updates are expected to be complete by March 2024! 

These are just a few of the new attractions that are coming to the Smokies in 2024. With so much to see and do, you're sure to have a great time on your next trip to the mountains.
