The Smokies are beautiful no matter the time of day, but there is something particularly special about a Smoky Mountain sunrise. If you're looking for the best sunrise views in Gatlinburg, then you need to check out Gatlinburg SkyLift Park's new program, Smoky Mountain Sunrise.
In September, Gatlinburg SkyLift Park expanded their hours to allow for a new Smoky Mountain Sunrise experience. Now, people will have the chance to watch the sunrise over the Smokies from the top of Crockett Mountain! During this exclusive event, guests will load the yellow SkyLift chairs and ascend 1800 feet to the summit of Crockett Mountain, where they can enjoy the SkyBridge, SkyDeck, SkyCenter, and SkyTrail in the early morning glow. Breakfast and a complimentary coffee mug are included in the experience.
Don't delay in booking your tickets! There are only three more sunrise events taking place this fall. Grab tickets for Oct. 12 at 7:38 a.m., Oct. 19 at 7:44 a.m., or Oct. 26 at 7:50 a.m. You'll need to be at the park at least an hour before the sunrise, as guests must redeem their tickets and then proceed to load the SkyLift 55 minutes prior to the sunrise time listed on their date of arrival. Each ticket is also valid for the entire day of your visit, so you are free to leave and re-enter the SkyLift Park as many times as you would like during the day!
